Thesis Work

These MFA and Thesis works, completed from 2013-2015, explore human emotion, from lust and sexuality to anxiety. These paintings and drawings have influences that include German Expressionism and American Pop Art. From bright explosive color used in the representation of indulgent items like lipsticks and cakes, to the strong contrast of blacks and whites, these works reveal the importance of color in the representation of emotion.
